💥 Signs in the skys before the day of the Lord.

Acts 2  (God says)

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Before the coming of Jesus:

Luke 21

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Pestilence:  

* 2020 Coronavirus: a great pestilence which covered the entire earth.  Has such a thing ever happened before?  where the plague hit every country in the entire earth?  Millions died.  Businesses and normal life shut down as never before witnessed.

This caught the attention of the people in the entire world.  A mighty trumpet? announcing a major happening?

* 2022 Record Breaking Megaflash Lightning:  (documented in North and South American)  CNN Feb. 1, 2022... Two new world records for megaflashes of lightning have been recorded by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), including one for longest distance (477 miles April 29, 2020,  Texas to Louisiana) of a singular flash in North America and one for longest duration (17 seconds in 2018) in South America.

Exodus 5:23  And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

Lightning is one of the great signs that should catch our attention as one of the signs of the times in the end times. 

In the Bible, lightning is often reported as "the fire ran along upon the ground", although we think of seeing lightning in the sky.

In the end times, we should expect to see unusual signs in the skies along with earthquakes and volcanos, giant tidal waves.

Luke 21

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

When the sun goes dark and the moon and stars fail to shine, people will be terrified, and rightly so for judgment from God comes.

If this darkness continues long, people will grow greatly weary.  And there is nothing man can do about it.  

Can we imagine 24 hours a day of darkness?  

We've had a great pestilence over the entire earth since March 2020, Coronavirus.  And many have been "worn out" in dealing with the problem.  The people of the world and the apostate churches will likely be truly overwhelmed with this next problem.

And the prophet Amos describes the time that is coming as follows:

Amos 5  

18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.

20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

Iniquity will also abound in the last days,

Jesus says:

Matthew 24

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many (for the Word of God) shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
