πŸ’₯ Testimonies

Occasionally we will have someone send us an email of his testimony,  It is so uplifting to read how God brought about salvation.

* Recently we received an email from a man in Pakistan, telling of how he was saved by God.

He said he was working to help support his family at the age of 6.  In addition to smoking, he began taking drugs.  By age 12 he was depressed and surrounded by such poverty that he had decided to commit suicide.  But a friend arranged for him to meet "a man of God" and he talked to him and prayed for him and he was completely changed after that ... the next day someone offered him a cigarette and he said, "No ... I don't want that!"  When he returned to school his classmates were amazed at the changes they saw in him.

Today this person is a minister to other people in Pakistan.

Pam Padgett was raised Catholic.

When she was a teenager one of her classmates was killed on a motorcycle.  For the first time she realized someone her age could die.

Into her mind came the following:  "If I died now I would go to hell, and those things I've been taught in the Catholic church cannot save me.  My only hope is God. "  (Many years later she realized it was God who brought this thought to her.)

Pam began to pray:

She said:  "I know there is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost ... but I don't know which one I am supposed to pray to.  So please get this prayer to the right one.  If there is some way to save me, please do so."

Pam realized she needed help and God was her ONLY help

After that she realized there was something of God in her.

Sometime later she saw a scripture and then she understood what it was of God that was in her.

I Corinthians 3:16   Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Later she learned what the Spirit of God who was in her did for her.

Jesus said:

John 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13-14  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

14 HE shall glorify ME: for HE shall receive of MINE, and shall shew it unto you.

Comments by Joan Boney ... I was baptized in water when I was 15 years old, but I was not born again by the Spirit of God.  There was no change at all in my life.  I just continued to pursue my own ambitions.

When I was 37 years old, I was reading a book about sin.

God spoke to me and said:  "Joan ... you know those mistakes you've been making all these years.  Those weren't mistakes.  Those were sins."

"Sins?"  I cried out.  "I thought they were mistakes."

My life was changed immediately.  Now I wanted to read Bible and go to church.  I wanted to be with the people of God.

Jesus says:  (Concerning the end of this world)

Matthew 24

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

(They will mourn because they will realize they do not really belong to Jesus although they thought themselves Christians.  They are the apostate church.  They do not cling to scripture but change scripture from the New Testament Bible to suit their own preferences.)

31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

When Jesus comes HE will raise the dead in Christ first.  Then HE will send HIS angels to raise the living in Christ who love the scripture and cling to the Holy scriptures.

I Thessalonians 4

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (go before) them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

The dead rise from their graves.  The elect of God, who are still alive on this earth, rise from this earth.  We all meet in the air and are taken to that new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth only righteousness.

Revelation 21

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God HIMSELF shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

God destroys this present heaven and earth:

2 Peter 3

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Revelation 22

12 And, behold, I come quickly; and MY reward is with ME, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14 Blessed are they that do HIS commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

When Jesus comes HE will destroy the apostate churches who change the scripture of the Holy Bible into other doctrines.

II Thessalonians 2

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Revelation 22  (Jesus says)

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

If we add to scripture or take away from scripture we put ourselves in danger of losing our salvation.

The apostate churches remove scripture from the New Testament Bible and set up doctrines of their own fleshly preference. Jesus will destroy those persons who change away from doctrines of the New Testament Bible.
