The workman made it; therefore it is not God:
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship HIM.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth.

If
an object which you can see or touch makes you feel "religious", you
can know that object causing that feeling is not God! You are
worshipping an idol, something made by a human.
What you are feeling is a fleshly emotion of man.
Jesus says:
John 4
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth.
