Think on the works of God

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Psalm 143:5    I meditate on all Thy works; I muse on the work of Thy hands.

When we think on how perfectly God planned the human body to enable us to do the physical works on this earth, we marvel.

The creation of the human's body by the great wisdom of God, and the way the parts of our body are designed to work together are great wonders ... our eyes which are perfectly formed to enable us to see ... having the exact number of fingers so we can grasp objects ... having legs and feet so we can move about ... are all great works of God, designed by God when HE created the first human, Adam.

The earth and seasons which allow food to grow ... the sun, the moon the stars ... perfectly placed and kept in place in the heavens by the word of God.

II Peter 3:7    But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

And I marvel at the Holy Spirit who God gives to live in each believer so we can know the way of God as we live here on this earth by the plan of God.

Think on God's works.

And when we speak, let us share what God has done in our lives that others who belong to God can be edified and helped.

The measure I use when I write these books and exhortations is this:

I ask myself:  "Is this something God has told me?"

When that is the case, it is good to write it.

Philippians 4:8    Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

And when there is something you are concerned about, take that problem to God so you can live in the peace of God and continue to think on those things that are lovely, as Paul says to do.

Joshua 1:7-9   Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Have not I commanded thee?

(We stop and examine:  Is it God who told me to do this?  If so, we build up our faith by thinking on the Word HE gave us in the matter at hand so we can be strong enough to do what HE has told us to do.)

Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
