God says:

Proverbs 8:6-14

Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of MY lips shall be right things.

For MY mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to MY lips.

All the words of MY mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

Receive MY instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Counsel is Mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

34   Blessed is the man that heareth ME, watching daily at MY gates, waiting at the posts of MY doors.

The counsel of God is "right".

The human often thinks he knows what is right ... but the counsel of God is right.

Proverbs 14:12    There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

To be safe, learn to seek the counsel of God in everything, especially as we draw closer to the return of Jesus for deception will increase more and more toward the end.

II Timothy 3:13    evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Therefore we need to pray over our decisions.

James 1:5    If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

After we pray, we wait until we feel fully persuaded that is the way God has shown us to go in the matter at hand.

And we know God's wisdom by the following characteristics:

James 3:17    the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

*  pure:  not striving with anyone ... no bones to pick ...
* peaceable, gentle ... likely fruits from the action
* easy to be intreated:  can be done without much effort ... not costly
* full of mercy and good fruits:  led by Spirit of God and not by your own desires
* without partiality:
* without hypocrisy:  no guile, nothing untrue or pretentious, no acting when you don't really feel that way ... no lying to make yourself look better to other people

If we are arguing with someone and trying to prove ourselves right, there will likely be confusion and every evil work.  So first we need to turn to God, asking HIM to cause our heart to be correct in the matter.

James 3:14-16    But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.  This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.  For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Before doing anything, ask God to make your heart right.  This is the first step.

Also something could be easy to do but not the right thing to do.

Know this:  When we have the way of God we will not color the story nor go in something that is not true.

If it is hard to do what we are planning, requiring much money or effort, we need to stop, pray again, wait.

The apostles of the Bible warn us concerning the end time and tell us to "be sober" be "alert".

Some will grow tired of waiting and drift away, eating and drinking with the drunken.

Jesus warns us:

Matthew 24:42-51

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

It is important to develop a routine whereby we view doctrine of Christ, renew our thinking to the Word of God, focus on exhorting the church, continuing daily in the things of God not allowing ourselves to become lax and drift away with the thinking of this world.

Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
