A warning

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

The apostle Peter warned us as follows:

II Peter 3 ... 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. 18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Some think they cannot fall, think they will not be affected.  This is not what Peter and Paul told us.

Paul said ... 33 Be not deceived:evil communications corrupt good manners. 34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God:  I Cor. 15

It is amazing how many people go in directions and speak things that would affect us if we allow it.  I often have to turn to God in prayer after they speak, to be restored and settled again and go in the way of God.  I have no doubt they can affect me in their error.  Therefore I fight, through prayer and by focusing on that called to my attention after prayer.

So beware just as Peter warned us to beware ...

beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

Recently I have come across error spoken by multiple people ... and have been warned not to take these things into me and to fight against their error so I can continue in the way of God.

- One woman was afraid to read Bible for fear she might misinterpret scripture ... But the Bible is given to us by God for the following purpose:

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.  II Tim. 3

We trust God to guide us by HIS Spirit through scripture.  But we do read the Bible and often, daily, day and night, knowing the following truth:

Joshua 1...  8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

It is interesting for this fear filled woman recognizes that I prosper and live in very different ways from others she knows.  So she asked me about my way.  I told her I read the Bible daily and try to go in the way of God and that causes me to prosper in all things continually.  She is afraid to read Bible so she goes in way of her own fears.  But she sees in me something she wants.  But she has no faith in God that I can see.  Her faith is in her church and the leaders of her church ... which is Catholic.  (Protestants also do same thing, trusting in their churches and their pastors rather than trusting in God but they do not know this is what they are doing.)

==========

- Another woman rose up recently to go in ways opposite to that which God showed her ... to go in ways opposite to that spoken by Holy Spirit ... and even revealed to me that she thought evil of me though she knew me to be a real minister appointed by God ...

This woman showed herself to be presumptuous (as Peter spoke of), self -willed, and not afraid to speak evil of dignities ... II Peter 2:10

Presumptuous:  failing to observe the limits of what is permitted or appropriate

Speaking evil of "dignities" ... those persons in high rank, in our case ministers appointed by God for the work of the ministry.

She just went along with devils who whispered evils in her ear and she turned from what God said as she did this and followed devils instead of correcting her way by truth from God.

It was incredible to see... very hard for me to see.  And there was nothing I could do to bring her back she was so twisted.  She has become like a wild beast as she gropes about to try to be restored.  Terrible.

These terrible things can happen if you listen to the wrong voices.

We must continually turn to God in prayer and focus on those things (especially those scriptures) that show the truth of God and cling to those and continue in them, working on faith and building ourselves up in the faith.

Thus Peter tells us not to let ourselves be drawn away from our own stedfastness by their error ... But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

More than ever, we need to surround our minds daily in Bible.
