Wednesday morning I found myself singing the song "Great Is Thy Faithfulness". At first I didn't realize I was singing. The song was in my heart and was coming forth. And I started thinking about God and His faithfulness. I didn't remember all the
words to the song so looked them up. Thinking about God and HIS
faithfulness brought such comfort and peace.
Then the following morning (yesterday) I felt a heaviness. But then I remembered God's
faithfulness again and Lamentations 3:22-23. Thinking about God and His
mercy toward us, keeping us from being consumed by our adversaries, and how HE never changes and will not fail us, helped me. The heaviness was replaced by thanksgiving to God and joy.
Lam. 3:22-23 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not
consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness.
