The persons who are problems will die and leave the earth and will no longer be that problem. The rulers of this earth disappear and if they come to mind we have no idea where they are now nor if they are even living anymore.
So it is also with those persons who were once held in great esteem in this world.
Where are they now? I often wonder when they come to mind.
James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
We, who are of God, focus on today ... Focus on Bible, on that which God shows us and that which God calls to our attention. Think on that. Do that which HE shows us. Rest in Him, in HIS Word, keeping it before us and in our mind. Live in today, not in past.
The apostle Paul says ... Phil. 3 ... 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended:but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
