Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
I am aware of multiple church women who say they committed adultery and say that was "before" they were born again.
Is that a sin done in ignorance of the knowledge of the truth?
The answer lies in the following: Did you try to hide what you were doing from your husband when you committed adultery?
If
the woman tried to hide from her husband, that woman knew the truth
about what she was doing otherwise she wouldn't have tried to hide. She knew what she was doing was wrong. And the man who commits adultery against his wife also tries to hide. That man knows what he is doing is wrong.
Gen.
3 ... 1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field
which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God
said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2 And the woman said
unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:3
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God
hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye
die.
(Eve added to the word of God. God did not say, "Ye shall not touch it.")
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:5
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall
be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when
the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant
to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the
fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and
he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; (now they had knowledge of the truth) and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day:and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he (Adam) said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11
And HE (God) said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten
of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
(the knowledge of good and evil makes us accountable so when we do wrong, we try to hide)
Before the knowledge of the truth, Adam and Eve were naked but did not know they were naked.
After truth came, they hid because they knew they were naked.
If a man or a woman commits adultery and hides what he/she is doing, they know the truth, that it is wrong.
Hiding is the proof that you knew what you were doing was wrong?
It
is different from the sin Paul committed when he was trying to catch
Christians that they might be imprisoned and put to death. This is a sin
done in ignorance. And Paul wasn't trying to hide. Paul
was openly trying to catch Christians. Everyone knew this. Therefore
Paul did not know this was wrong. Paul thought this was the right thing
to do. Paul committed a sin of ignorance, a sin done before the knowledge of the truth.
Adultery is a sin done after the knowledge of the truth. The man or the woman committing adultery hides. They know it is wrong.
==========
In doing this wrong, they sinned against God ...
Joseph knew it would be a sin against God to have sex with Pontifer's wife.
Men
of the OT knew it would be a sin to have sex with a married woman.
Though these men had concubines, they knew to take another man's wife
would be sin.
Concerning Joseph ...
Gen.
39 ... 7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife
cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. 8 But he refused,
and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is
with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;
9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back
any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife:how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

Fornication is a sin unlike all other sins, says Paul.
I Cor. 6 ... 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against HIS own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price:therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Fornication is a sin against Christ's own body.
