1 Make haste, O God, to deliver me;
make haste to help me, O Lord.
2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul:
let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

Some people never think of God at all ... Before I was born again, I rarely thought of God.

It is so important to each of us to keep ourselves built up in the faith in God ... seeing the works of God and knowing the works of God ... for in this we have strength to go forward on this present earth.
I find it so settling, mentally, to take a scripture and think about that specific scripture, looking up key words in dictionary. As I do this, I'm often reminded of other scripture and the Holy Spirit takes me where I need to be in Bible as one scripture after another is called to my mind. This is one of my favorite ways to begin a new day.
