If you wish you had been born in another decade or at another place, consider the following information.
Acts 17:26 ... HE (God) determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. (NIV-original version / 1978)
KJV ... and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
We can be assured that God put us exactly in the time and the place HE wanted us to be. It was not accidental. I find this comforting.
(Concerning the NIV translation of Acts 17:26 ... I have the first version-original version 1978 of the NIV which is the above translation cited in this writing. The newer versions (1984 & 2005) of the NIV translates this verse as follows: " and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.")
