Romans 3 ... 3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4 God forbid:yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
Many sayings of this world are opposite to what God says on the same subject.
That is antichrist: opposite to God ...
II Thess. 2 ... Let no man deceive you by any means:for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Antichrist sends thoughts to the mind of man just as the Spirit of God sends thoughts to the mind of man. When a man believes antichrist and falls away from God's thoughts on the subject, man (along with antichrist) says "God is wrong ... God is a liar about this matter."
Antichrist exalts himself above God this way and man also exalts himself above God with his own thoughts and by speaking his own ideas. He makes himself to be God.
Romans 3 says let God be true and every man a liar.
I believe the following is an example of that.
Multiple times, I have heard people blame the person who died by
saying the dead person could have been alive if only he (she) had gone
to doctor earlier. (Man wants to believe man is in charge of life and death.)
Each time I have heard that, I have been troubled.
Recently the Holy Spirit spoke to me about this to set it straight in my thinking.
Eccl. 3 ... 1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die;
Acts
17:26 ... NIV (original translation - 1978) ... He (God) determined the
times set for them and the exact places where they should live.
I believe the above scriptures show God appointing the exact times we are on this earth.
Though man thinks he can control life and death, the truth is God: God sets the time we are on this earth.
Even if a human turns to doctor, this does not mean he can live, even when he gets there "in time" as the world says. Some still die.
I believe God is in control of my time on this earth and HE sets the time I will be here.
