πŸ’₯ The Lord is my shepherd;

A shepherd watches over the sheep ... feeding them, guiding them, protecting them.

Who is our shepherd?  Not a dead person who is asleep who can not see us or hear us as some worldly people think.

Our shepherd is The Lord, the resurrected Jesus Christ who is the son of God and is The Word, having been with God from the creation of heaven and earth.

HE speaks to us today by HIS own Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth.

We know and believe these things because the Bible tells us so.

John 10  (Jesus says)

27 MY sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow ME:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of MY hand.

29 MY Father, which gave them ME, is greater than all; and none is able to pluck them out of MY Father's hand.

(No man, no spirit, no circumstance)

***

4 And when HE putteth forth HIS own sheep, HE goeth before them, and the sheep follow HIM: for they know HIS voice.

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

John 14:26  (Jesus says:)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 26:13-14  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

14  HE shall glorify ME: for HE shall receive of MINE, and shall shew it unto you.

Romans 8:26-27  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27 And HE that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because HE maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Romans 8:33-34  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.  34 Who is he that condemneth?  It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

(Both Jesus and the Holy Spirit intercede for us who belong to God.)

Because we have heard what God says by The Holy Spirit and we know the Word, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and by our personal experiences with God, we believe by faith.

And we endure, holding fast to our faith in God by HIS Word to us.
