Revelation 20
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

In Revelation 3, Jesus speaks of the book of life as follows:
Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before HIS angels.
By this scripture, we see that our name can be cast out of the book of life.
We overcome by turning to God in prayer in all things. By connecting with God. By agreeing with scripture and living that scripture, abiding in the Word of God to the end.
We set ourselves to do right in the sight of God. Thus we live in God's righteousness.
We conform ourselves to scriptures, the Word of God, in the Holy Bible. Not just speaking the scriptures but understanding the scriptures through God and living those scriptures and having the scriptures in our own heart. And we care about the scriptures above all things, even above our own lives.
Jesus even went to the cross to fulfill the scriptures.
Matthew 26
52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to MY Father, and HE shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

We do not live as people of this world live. We do not live as the apostate church lives where they cast away scriptures which they do not prefer and set up other doctrines to please themselves and to approve sinners inside the church itself.
When Jesus returns HE will judge the apostate churches and they will be destroyed.
2 Thessalonians 2
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
