Jesus said ... Old Testament king Manasseh ruled in Jerusalem. He did that which was evil in the sight of God. And his evil was so great that he caused the people to be even worse than those nations God had driven out before him.
Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel. II Kings 21:9
It is awful when a Christian is worse than the world. I've seen this happen. And there are so many evil ministers today in the Christian world. They are predators but they do it in the name of Jesus. I see them frequently. They speak great sounding words and feign love while seeing us as their next meal.
Jesus warned us this would happen before HIS return.
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Mt. 23
They come saying "Jesus is Christ ... Jesus is Lord". And because they say that many are deceived.
Since we have been publishing these writings, I have seen them daily. They come with great, flowery words
that mean nothing at all. They have great plans which they love to tell about. (Take no thought for your life. Mt. 6) They go in opposite ways to the way of God.
When I see such, I just delete their emails without reply. God has shown me they are operating under a strong delusion which is from God. II Thess. 2. Because of this, I no longer try to correct them. I just flee from them.
II Thess. 2 ... Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first (They fall away from scripture and set up another doctrine which approves men and pleases men), and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God (They sit in the "temple of God", in the church itself), shewing himself that he is God. 5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (God sends them the strong delusion so they will believe a lie and continue in a lie and be damned.)
They are greedy, self-serving bastards. (Not legitimate / God is not their Father / They have created themselves by their desires) They operate without correction ... bastard.
Heb. 12 ...For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
The word God used to define them for me is this: They are predators.
There are many predators today who call themselves ministers just as Jesus said there would be in the last days.
When you see such, just flee from them.
