Must not yield ourselves to emotions

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Feelings come and go ... We can even feel we don't want to read Bible anymore.

These are simply emotions of flesh and devil.

One woman walked away from our little church group in December, 2018, saying to me that she didn't care about Bible and blog we write any more.  She said she didn't care about anything any more.

Jesus said:  Matthew 24:12  (concerning last days)    And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

We cannot afford to yield ourselves to lying vanities.

Instead we contend for the faith in God by clinging to that which God has said in The Word, the Holy Bible.

Our flesh and the devil work to separate us from God if we will let them.

II Corinthians 10:3-5    For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

It is up to us to turn to God in prayer with destructive thoughts and to depend on God to help us.

Often God will remind us of a scripture and we choose to cling to that scripture and what it says over how we feel.  And we keep praying for help and hold on to those things God brings to our memory.

This is not a one time battle ... nor is it a one time victory.

We overcome through prayer and through clinging to that which the Bible says as long as God chooses to leave us on this earth.

And Jesus says to us the following.

Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
