God does not allow us to be tempted above that which we are able to withstand.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Monday, Pam and I were watching on TV, a very interesting documentary, concerning WWII and occupying USA forces in Frankford, Germany.

The USA officers had taken over a very large palace and turned it into an officer's "country" club.

A woman, a captain, from Phoenix had been an assistant director of the country club in Phoenix so they made her director of the club for officers at the German castle.

She engaged in adultery with a USA officer, and they became friends with a major at the castle.

They discovered the crown jewels of the empire in the basement, sealed by a wall of brick and cement.

They then set about to smuggle the jewels out of Germany.

When they showed the crown jewels in the documentary, I was glad I had not been faced with the temptation of these jewels for I felt I would not have been able to withstand this temptation.

The Bible tells us we will not encounter a temptation that we are unable to withstand.

I Corinthians 10:13     There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

(The 3 USA officers did manage to get most of the jewels out of Germany but they got caught and tried by military and sentenced to prison.)
