Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Thoughts of unbelief, thoughts contrary to God, come into our minds.
We have to deal with such in a spiritual way.
One day in 2019, I was thinking of the terrorists who sacrificed their lives killing people as they thought by doing such they would end up in paradise … worshipping Mohammed. How disappointed they will be when they awaken to judgment and find out it is the God of Abraham who rules, not Mohammed.
And the thought came, "What if the god you worship is not real?"
I sat speechless as I examined this thought.
And I was reminded of this: "The God I worship created the heavens and the earth."
And by thinking on this, I held on.

A woman who had been in our little church group since 1980 (almost 40 years), turned and walked away while saying she didn't care about anything any more.
The devil whispered to her and she bought the lies.
Even her statement to me of no longer caring about anything was a lie. For she has a little dog and I know she cares about him.

John 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
The devil brings thoughts to our mind to destroy us if we let him.
God holds truth and the devil speaks only lies though sometimes devil's lies can seem true.

John 8:43-45 Jesus says: Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Paul warned:
II Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Hebrews 3:14-19 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
While it is said, To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
But with whom was HE grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
And to whom sware HE that they should not enter into HIS rest, but to them that believed not?
So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Rejoice evermore.

We have to contend for the faith in God and in the Word of God, the Bible, until the end, walking in the Spirit of Truth and rejecting lies, staying established in the Word to the end.
Deception will increase toward the end and some will walk away from the truth of God accepting thoughts sent by devils.
Each of us much examine those thoughts that come to our minds and deliberately hold fast to truth of Bible lest we be swept away through deluding thoughts.
We "believe" unto our salvation.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Jesus said it will get so bad toward the end that "except the days are shortened", no flesh would be saved.
Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Jude vv.3-4 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness (lusts), and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

We work at our salvation by reading the Word of God and believing with the heart.
Hold fast to the end of time on this earth.
Thus Paul told us to renew our minds to the Word of God.
The doctrines we see from the world are damnation.
Refuse to allow yourself to be swept away by lies of the devil.

I Thessalonians 5:16-21
Rejoice evermore.
Pray without ceasing.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Quench not the Spirit.
Despise not prophesyings.
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
