In multiple chapters of Bible, Jesus speaks of the end times, the last days, the days before HE returns to gather the elect to HIMSELF and the wrath of God comes upon this present earth.
One very serious instruction concerns those persons who are in Jerusalem.
Jesus says:
- If Jerusalem is surrounded by armies, know the desolation of Jerusalem is near.
- Let those who are in Judea at that time flee to mountains.
- If you are in midst of Jerusalem, depart.
- If you are outside, do not enter into Jerusalem when this is the situation.
Luke 21:20-21 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

In the end, Jerusalem will be totally destroyed according to Jesus.
Luke 19:41-44 And when HE (Jesus) was come near, HE beheld the city (Jerusalem), and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

Consider the following scriptures from Bible.
Matthew 24:1-5 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and His disciples came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the temple.
And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

The apostle Peter warned that these things God speaks concerning the end of this present world will happen even if they seem delayed.
II Peter 3:1-14 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of HIS coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
(Though Jesus spoke these words to us over 2000 years ago, that time is really like 2 days in the sight of God. People today are lulled into sleep, thinking nothing has happened and everything will continue here as it has for thousands of years. They fail to consider that the Word will come to pass at some point it time. So truly it will be as a thief though Jesus warned us about what was to come upon this earth. Beware!)
Luke 17:26-29 Jesus says: And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

II Peter 3 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
God allowed the apostle John to view the new heaven, the new earth, the new Jerusalem and John described it to us in the following scripture.
Revelation 21:1-5 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

John the Baptist was sent before Jesus came in the flesh the first time. John preached the coming kingdom and prepared the way for the first coming of Jesus.
I believe some of us today are sent before the second coming of Jesus to prepare a church for that coming.
Those things told us in the Bible will happen.
At some point, great destruction will come to Jerusalem and the temple will be completely destroyed. The elect of God will be removed from this earth, and afterward great tribulation will come upon the whole earth with many plagues described in Revelation 8-11 coming upon those men who are still living on the earth.
In I Thessalonians 5:1-11, the apostle Paul says: But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ (The Word), Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

The end, after the plagues, will be the total destruction of this present heaven and earth by fire from God. There is a new heaven and new earth and new Jerusalem where the people of God will live. We will not live on this present earth for it will be destroyed.God allowed the apostle John to view the new heaven, the new earth, the new Jerusalem and John described it to us in the following scripture.

Jesus tells his disciples the following:
Matthew 24:3-4 And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of THY coming, and of the end of the world?
Matthew 24:3-4 And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of THY coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
(Before the end, there will be many false preachers coming upon the earth and they will come saying Jesus is the Christ, Jesus is Lord, and because they "say" this, many will listen to them and be deceived. These preachers are rampant today on TV and in church groups.)
Jesus said there would be wars and rumors of wars before the end.
But at some point the end would come.

The apostle Paul told us that antichrist comes into the churches before the day of the Lord, before Jesus returns, before the end of this world.
II Thessalonians 2:3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
The churches taught that antichrist came through the governments of men. But Paul told us antichrist comes through "the temple of God", through the church.

Paul said there would first come "a falling away" … churches would fall away from scripture, eliminating portions of scripture and setting up another doctrine. This falling away from scripture had to come before antichrist in the churches because the scripture was the only thing holding antichrist back from the church. When the churches removed portions of scripture, the restraint holding antichrist back was removed and antichrist moved into the churches. (antichrist is against Christ or opposite from scripture)
This is easy to see for most of the churches today have removed the teaching of Jesus concerning such things as divorce and remarriage and set up another doctrine.
Matthew 5:32 But I (Jesus) say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
They also cast away many other parts of Bible, removing scripture to allow sin to sit in the congregation without correction, that there would be no repentance.

They also cast away many other parts of Bible, removing scripture to allow sin to sit in the congregation without correction, that there would be no repentance.
This, says Paul, had to happen before the second coming of Jesus.
We have seen this for decades in churches and the antichrist is now in full bloom in the churches with scripture being removed and doctrine of Christ changed away from the Bible.
(antichrist is not one man but like devil, antichrist is a spirit operating in many men)
(antichrist is not one man but like devil, antichrist is a spirit operating in many men)

We cannot do anything to correct the antichrist in the churches … So what can we do now?
We must diligently take care of our individual selves that we not be swept away by the error in the churches.
We must hold fast to Bible, keeping ourselves in peace as we realize that all that evil in the churches is something that was ordained to happen in end time before the return of Jesus.
***
***
I cannot sit among these antichrist churches where Bible is cast aside in part.
I just gather with one or two Christians who are holding fast and cling to scripture.
Those appointed by God will cling to Bible.
But Jesus warned as follows:
Matthew 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

One thing I have been doing lately is praying for God to teach me to pray.
There is a special relationship which comes to us with God through certain types of prayer.
I have touched upon it a few times but know I'm just approaching the connection.
I suspect we will need that to endure.
Luke 21:34-36 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
***
Also Jesus speaks of the powers of heaven being shaken at the end times.
Luke 21:25-26 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
***
Luke 21:27-28 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

- antichrist in the churches / churches falling away from scripture to set up other doctrines

The church is removed from this earth and the wrath of God, the great tribulation, comes upon men left on this earth …
Then at the complete end of the plagues sent from God (Revelation 8-11), God destroys the present heaven and earth by fire. (II Peter 3)
