We glorify God when we tell others that which God has done.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

When we present our own ideas and our own thinking, we glorify ourselves ... what we think ... our wisdom ... our cleverness, that which we figure our by our own mind or that which we have learned from other humans.

But when we tell what God showed us or what God did to help us, we glorify God.

***

One time a women told me the first time she saw her husband, even though she had not yet met him,  she knew she was going to marry him.

She asked another man, "Who is that."

This man told her the name of that man she had just seen.

She replied, "I'm going to marry him."

When she told me this story, I said immediately,

"OH, that was a word from God to you ... a word of knowledge."

(They ended up married for 60-years before husband died.)

Spiritual Gifts of the Holy Spirit to the Church:

I Corinthians 12:4-10    Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

(The Word of Knowledge is something we know, but have no way of knowing of ourselves.  It is revealed by God.)

***

Another example of word of knowledge:

Jesus came to HIS disciples and ask them "who" they thought HE was.

One replied, "Elijah"  Another said, "John the Baptist."  Another, "Jeremiah."

But Peter said:  Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

And Jesus answered and said unto him,

Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but MY Father which is in heaven.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
  (Matthew 16:15-18)

The rock is that word which God reveals to us concerning the matter at hand.  Focus on that word for it is from God.  The gates of hell cannot prevail against that word given us by God.  Though other humans and devils often try to speak opposite words than that which we have heard by God's Spirit, those words from others will not stand against that word brought to us by God.

Jesus said the following concerning the Holy Spirit.

John 16:14    HE shall glorify ME: for HE shall receive of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.

The Holy Spirit hears from God and Jesus, and shows us those things HE has heard from THEM.

I Corinthians 2:11-12    the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

The Spirit of God, who is in us, searches the heart of God and shows us that which God says so we can know the will of God.

John 16:13    Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

The Holy Spirit speaks only that which HE hears from God and Jesus.  When we hear in our mind the words of the Holy Spirit, we hear the words of God and Jesus repeated to us.

God brings to our minds words of wisdom and words of knowledge, as HE wills, by HIS Spirit who lives in us, who are believers in God and in Jesus, The Word.
