Transfigured

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Matthew 17:1-5    And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him.

Transfigured:  transformed into something more beautiful or elevated

When God reveals Jesus to us and we are born again, we, too, are transformed, changed from that we once were.

Through the years, God brings us HIS word as we are dealing with issues of this life and when we do HIS word in the matter at hand, we are changed again into another "form", transformed.

Romans 12:1-2    I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

*  God says concerning Jesus:

This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him.

The Holy Spirit of Jesus lives in each child of God today.  Jesus speaks to us today by HIS Spirit, bringing thoughts to our minds that we can know the will of God and follow HIM.

Hear HIM.   Following HIM in an appropriate way.

We keep ourselves ready for HIS return when HE removes HIS followers from this earth before the wrath of God.

Peter says:

II Peter 3:14  ... Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
