2017, we live in the perilous times which Paul spoke of in II Timothy 3.
How can this be? No major wars, in USA at moment. Everything relatively calm out on the streets. No major sign of problems. Seems like peace.
I Thessalonians. 5 ... But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Homosexuals and lesbians are protected by law in USA as never before in their history. They have to feel great peace and safety.
Fornicators and adulterers are welcomed even into the churches. Everything is just great. No one can tell them what to do and they brazenly flaunt their acts which would have been hidden in times past. Often they are even proud and brag about their sexual conquests. And sometimes they even flaunt their sexual partner in the eyes of the congregation by coming to church together.
All sins are openly shown on TV advertisement with "beautiful, desirable" physical images of people. We are all supposed to be thin, well dressed, glamorous so we can be more attractive to have more opportunities for sex. Women are to be outspoken and boisterous.
It's a really great time to be alive ... except for the truly godly person.
But where are we really?
We stand today, as never before, set for the coming of Jesus and the Wrath of God that is to come upon the whole world.

This book, Faith in God, presents the basic principles of faith which I delight in considering.
The last two chapters, are information which I have received in 2017, concerning antichrist in the churches, the apostasy in the church which sets the stage for the return of Jesus.
Hopefully we can wake up to where we really are at this time.
