Matthew 24:26-27 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, HE is in the desert; go not forth: behold, HE is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
HE will be visible to all ... as a streak of lightning is visible to all.

And what will be going on at the time Jesus returns?
It will be like the days of Noah and the days of Lot.
People will be living life as usual, eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage.
Jesus describes it as follows.
Luke 17:28-30 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

I Thessalonians 5:1-5 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
(It is like a thief for it will take away all possession and things people have been trusting in. And it will come suddenly as a thief strikes all of a sudden.)
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
We who are of God should see it is coming because the anarchy is going on in churches where they remove scripture, and the overall wickedness is increasing with display and approval of adultery, fornication, homosexuals, drunkenness and such. These are sins that bring the wrath of God.
And what about us?
II Timothy 3:14-17 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
