Signs of the coming of Jesus and the end of the world according to Bible

Matthew 24:3-5    And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

The first thing God showed me about this:

Jesus said:  Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in MY name, saying, I (Jesus) am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Many would come saying, "Jesus is Lord", and by saying that they would deceive many.

Many preachers would come "in HIS name" and deceive many.

Another sign to see before the coming of Jesus is the apostasy in the churches.  Paul even told us Jesus would not come until the apostasy happened in the churches.

II Thessalonians 2    NASB    Let no one in any way deceive you, for it (the day of the LORD) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

apostasy:  turning away from doctrine, turning away from scripture

This turning away allows the man of lawlessness to come inside the church itself.  The man of lawlessness, antichrist, is a spirit that works in many men.  John said there were already many antichrists in his day.  At the end, whole churches will turn from portions of scripture to allow lawlessness to be approved inside the church.  

Here is one example:  Jesus said the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. Matthew 5:32

There was a time this was upheld in churches and taught in churches.  Church groups fell away from this doctrine and approved the opposite. 

This is the apostasy.  This is antichrist in the churches.

KJV  II Thessalonians 2:3-4   Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God 

At one point, God opened my eyes to see that "falling away" was not people leaving the church but was the church leaving the doctrines of Christ, the church group leaving specific doctrines of Bible. antichrist working in the church

The man of lawlessness opposes that which God says in the scripture. antichrist / the apostasy

Antichrist is not one man but many men.  Antichrist is like devil, a spirit working in men.

I John 2:18   Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.


II Timothy 3:13  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Acts 20:29-30    Paul says:  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

The apostles kept order in the churches but when they were gone we saw exactly what Paul told us would happen in the churches.  Men who are like wolves would come in among them to devour the flock.  Men would speak perverse things in the church to draw away disciples after themselves.

All we have to do is to look at specific scripture and compare that scripture with that which they are teaching today.  They either twist these scriptures or explain them away thus allowing lawlessness in the church.  the apostasy

Divorce/Remarriage:

Matthew 5:32    Jesus says:  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

I Corinthians 7:10-11    And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

Fornication: 

I Corinthians 6:18    Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.


Continuing in sin after becoming a Christian:


I Corinthians 6:9-10    
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind (those who cheat, take advantage of other people, go along with the crowd doing as they do),  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers (abusive speaking, to treat another as vile), nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:19-21    Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Homosexual/Lesbians:

Romans 1:26-28    For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

No, they are not born that way as homosexuals or as lesbians.  They chose to go against nature and God gave them over to a reprobate mind, a mind without God's judgment.


Drunkards:  

In the Bible, drunkenness is listed as a work of the flesh.  It is not an illness like cancer.

Galatians 5:19-21    Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:

of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Other signs of the end are as follows:

gospel preached in all world  (Matthew 24:14 ... being done now through Internet  ... was also done at day of Pentecost for there were men from all nations who heard Peter speak  Acts 2:5)

* iniquity shall abound  (Matthew 24:12)

as in the days of Noah  (Matthew 24:37-39 ... wickedness abounded / Genesis 6)

as in the days of Lot  (Luke 17:28-29 ... city filled with homosexuals / Genesis 19)


So many things are now in place.  Jesus could return at any time.  But no man knows when this will happen.  When the iniquity is full in God's sight and at time of God's will, Jesus will return and gather the church to HIM "in the air."  I Thessalonians 4


Matthew 24:32-33    Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:  So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

We do not know the exact day but we do know, by these signs, that we draw near.


Matthew 24:36    Jesus says  ... But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

While the world, and even churches, might approve above sins, in the end we will be judged by God and by HIS word on the issues.

II Corinthians 5:10    For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

If we belong to God and want to please God, how can we continue in sins?
