Paul says: Take notice and avoid those person who teach something other than doctrine of Bible

Romans 16:17-18    Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

The WORD of God is not a matter of opinion of man.

The thing to focus on is what exactly does the word of God say

You cannot continue to sit with those who speak other doctrines.

II John

9-11   Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

*   the doctrine of Christ

The teaching of Christ.  What Jesus said in the Bible.  That which God inspired to be spoken in the Bible.

Focus on the scripture, not on the circumstances.

A woman calling herself a minister contacted me wanting to tell me the circumstances of her mother's divorce and remarriage.

I cried out to God immediately upon seeing this woman's email, asking God to help me and I heard this from the Holy Spirit:

Focus on that which the scriptures say and not on the circumstances.

Concerning divorce/remarriage:

Mt. 5:32   But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

I Cor 7:10-11   And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

People use circumstances to try to explain away scripture.

The important thing is what God says about the subject in the Bible.

Continue in that scripture.  You cannot leave scripture and follow Jesus for Jesus is the Word and all scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for instruction in righteousness so the man of God can be "perfect", perfected.

II Tim. 3

13-17   But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Focus on scripture.  Don't permit anyone nor anything pull you off what the scripture says.

There are many seducing spirits and doctrines of devils today.

That angel of light (which is of Satan) comes to try to make the person feel he is enlightened above the scripture and there is another higher way than the scripture.

Set yourself to stay in scripture.

So many church groups and people are speaking doctrines contrary to scripture.

This is the falling away, the falling away from scripture, the apostasy of the end times that Paul said had to come to the churches.

II Thess. 2  (NASB)  Let no one in any way deceive you, for it (the day of the Lord) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things?

And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed.

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. Then that lawless one will be revealed

The one restraining the man of lawlessness was Jesus, THE WORD, the scriptures.

As soon as scripture, even a portion of scripture, was removed, the restraint which held lawlessness back from the churches was removed so antichrist could move into the churches and lawlessness could reign inside the churches.

If we turn away from scripture, we have nothing else.

Scripture is freedom from sin and freedom from worldly destruction when we do scripture.

Jesus said "few" would find the way of life and "many" would go in the way of destruction.

Mt. 7:13-14   Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The way of destruction appeals to the flesh.
