Seek the will of God daily and you find along the way blessings of God accumulate without your trying to get them for yourselves.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

NT apostle, those persons anointed by God to deal with scripture and church doctrine based on scripture.

NT prophet, those persons anointed by God to bring correction to church, to correct both ministers and individuals.

After I was born again in 1975, I  cared about almost nothing but Bible and church.

I read scripture day and night, looking for that which God wanted me to do as I lived in this life.  I made many changes based on that which I read in the Bible.  (I still do this, making adjustment by Bible and being confirmed in what I am doing by Bible.)

Though I didn't try to acquire material things, along the way things were added to me without my planning to get these things.

This fits the following scripture.

Matthew 6:33  Jesus said:  seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

The important thing to me was, and still is, "What does God want me to do today?  What does God want me to do about this matter?"

And daily, as I read Bible, I was examining myself by that told us in the scriptures and trying to make appropriate adjustments to my life, not setting about to please man by that which I spoke but rather trying to please God.

Through the years of trying to examine myself by scripture and being recreated in my thinking by scripture, I found another thing.  Material things of this life accumulated in my life without my trying to get these things.

Bit by bit, physical things came into my life without my focus being on getting them:

It is exactly what Jesus said to us in Matthew 6.

19-34    Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven
, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

(Let our daily treasure be in seeking the will of God through prayer and Bible reading and doing daily that which we believe God shows us to do.  Let our daily delight be in what God shows us.)

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

(We cannot focus on God and worldly treasures at the same time.)

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

(We can't make ourselves one inch taller by thinking about it.)

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Let the Bible be our delight.  Seek HIS will daily through prayer.  Try to focus on doing those scriptures that stand out today as we read chapter of Bible.

Let this be our treasure:  The WORD shown us this day by God.

Follow after Jesus, The Word.

Later you will find that "all these things" will be added unto you without your trying to get them for yourselves.

Sounds like nonsense to the world ... but to those who are of God it is everything!

I Corinthians 2:11-14    For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
