Joan Boney … apostle/prophet
By inspiration of God, the apostle Paul explains the following:
I Corinthians 2:6-13 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak,

God gives us HIS Spirit to live in us. By HIS Spirit (who searches the heart of God) we know the will of God in the matters pertaining to us as we live in this present life.
And we speak those things the Holy Spirit has spoken to us!

God often shows me what to do as I deal with matters on this earth.
The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, is a helper to show us what to do according to the will of God and a comforter in distresses of this life.
As we agree with that brought to mind by the Holy Spirit we choose to go in the way of God.

The primary way God speaks to me today is by bringing thoughts to my mind by HIS Spirit.
Also God shows us what to do by giving us dreams just as God gave dreams cited throughout the New Testament. By reviewing these scriptures we can confirm to ourselves how God uses dreams, for if God gave them to the disciples in the NT, we can be sure God gives them to us, the children of God, today.
And God sometimes has an angel speak a word to our minds.
I once heard what I believe to have been an angel of the Lord. I was asleep in the night and was awakened by a very loud trumpet-like voice which spoke 3 words into my ear: "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS"
I jumped out of bed and wrote the letters "KWJS" on a notepad so I wouldn't get them mixed up.
It seemed obvious to me that "KWJS" was call letters to either a radio or TV station. (I looked it up and found it to be radio.)
I then said to God: "Are YOU telling me to go on radio? I wouldn't know how to do that. I'm a writer, not a speaker."
IMMEDIATELY the following gentle thought came to my mind, I think by the Holy Spirit.
"Call the radio station manager."
I did that the same morning and he told me to make an audition tape of 29 1/2 minutes and send the tape to him which I did that same morning.
Within 5 days I was broadcasting exhortations to the church on station KWJS. Within a year I was broadcasting on radio stations from Hartford (NYC area) to Seattle … that was in 1980.
I came to believe it was an angel that spoke those 3 words to me that night … a loud trumpet like sound but in words.

If you are wondering how God speaks to us today, let the Bible be one of your guides after prayer.
For if you can find an example of God speaking in New Testament to a person, you should realize nothing has happened since the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus to cause anything to be different for the church.
How did God speak to Paul? and to Peter?
What does NT Bible show us?
These are our examples.
