Joan Boney ... apostle, prophet
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

By the following hymn, we encourage ourselves to think on the wonderful promises God has set forth for us in the Bible and also to focus upon "special" words God has given to us in the night as HE appears to us in dreams and visions.
Hymn: STANDING ON THE PROMISES OF GOD
(Click forward arrow > to play music:)
1. Standing on the promises of Christ my King,
Through eternal ages let His praises ring,
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,
Standing on the promises of God.
Chorus:
Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of Christ my Savior;
Standing, standing,
I’m standing on the promises of God.
2. Standing on the promises that cannot fail,
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail,
By the living Word of God I shall prevail,
Standing on the promises of God.
3. Standing on the promises I now can see
Perfect, present cleansing in the blood for me;
Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free,
Standing on the promises of God.
4. Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord,
Bound to Him eternally by love’s strong cord,
Overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword,
Standing on the promises of God.
5. Standing on the promises I shall not fall,
List’ning every moment to the Spirit’s call.
Resting in my Savior as my All in all,
Standing on the promises of God.

A promise of God delivered to the church through the apostle Paul in the Bible.
Philippians 4:19 ... my God shall supply all your need
***
The devil brings the opposite thought to our mind, opposing what God has said to us.
Paul says: Philippians 4:1 ... stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
"The LORD" is JESUS, The Word.
What has God said?
Through Paul in Bible, God promised HE would provide all our need. Philippians 4:19
Knowing this promise of God to the church through Bible, we deliberately choose to set our faith in that promise, believing what God has said and focusing on that which God has said.
***
Our need ... ?
It could be money.
It could be help from a trained individual.
No matter what we need, God promises to provide that need.
Our job is to believe what God has said and cling to HIS promise, calling on HIM continually through prayer.
***
Singing the above hymn, STANDING ON THE PROMISES OF GOD, helps us to remember what God has said and helps us to turn our thinking onto that which God has said, for God will never fail us nor forsake us, HIS children.
Hebrews 13:5 HE (God) hath said, ... I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

And God promises:
James 1:5 ...
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
