Sometimes provision comes in unthought of ways

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

I had a bad accident in December 2018, which resulted in a two month stay in a rehabilitation hospital.

After moving to Colorado a few semi-expensive needs surfaced.  While I could pay for these items, it was putting me in a slightly uncomfortable financial position, draining my bank account to a level where I felt pressure.

I asked God if we should postpone one activity which was going to cost approximately $4000.

Then I remembered something.  We had paid for a month of room/board at the rehab hospital in Texas, but then I qualified for Medicare who paid for the same month.  I was due a refund.

When Pam checked, she found the rehab would be sending a refund of approximately $2000 by the end of the month!

That made it much easier to consider going ahead with the project.

James 3:17 ... (How to recognize the wisdom from God.)

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

I thanked God for this unexpected blessing.

Hymn:  I'm pressing on the upward way

(Click forward arrow > to play music:)

1.  I’m pressing on the upward way,
New heights I’m gaining every day;
Still praying as I onward bound,
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.

Chorus:

Lord, lift me up, and let me stand
By faith on Heaven's tableland;

A higher plane than I have found,
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.

2.  My heart has no desire to stay
Where doubts arise and fears dismay;
Though some may dwell where these abound,
My prayer, my aim, is higher ground.

3.  I want to live above the world,
Though Satan’s darts at me are hurled;
For faith has caught the joyful sound,
The song of saints on higher ground.

4.   I want to scale the utmost height
And catch a gleam of glory bright;
But still I’ll pray till rest I’ve found,
Lord, lead me on to higher ground.
