* Scriptures

I want to get scripture more deeply inside me and I know we can do that by meditating throughout the day on key scriptures.

I have gone through this writing today and have selected various scriptures today that are especially meaningful to me at this point in time.  I have grouped those scriptures together.  And have sent them by email to myself so when I open my email throughout that day, those scriptures will be there and this will give me more opportunity to think on those scripture and do them.

You might want to make your own list of scriptures that stands out to you from today's writing.  That makes them so personal to your needs.

(My List)

I have been in the ministry work since I was born again in 1975, with God training me for the calling of apostle and prophet.  I began doing the actual ministry in 1980.  I've suffered many persecutions while delivering corrections and messages from God to the church.

I've never before found as much trouble as now from church members.

To continue doing the work to which I am called by God, I've had to focus on specific scriptures as follows:
*****

Colossians 4:17 Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.

I Corinthians 9:24-27  Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Must keep running until you cross finish line. If you quit before you reach the finish line and drop out of the race, all is lost. Must finish the race.

*****

Hebrews 3:13-14   exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Hebrews 10:25  exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

I Corinthians 15:58  be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

*****

Joshua 1:9  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest

*****

Psalm 23:1  The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

(If I follow the instruction given me by God, HE leads me and then I will come into position where there is no want for anything.)

*****

James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

*****

Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do His commandments: His praise endureth for ever.

Ephesians 4 ... After Jesus arose (after the crucifixion & resurrection) ...

HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Jesus gave some apostles (plural ... more than one); and some prophets (plural ... more than one).

There have to be others on this earth doing what I do as apostle and prophet.

*****

I Corinthians 11 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep (die).

For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

*****

II Corinthians 5:9-11  Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of HIM. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;

*****

I Thessalonians 1:4-5

Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance;

*****

II Timothy 3:13  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
