Worship HIM

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Mt. 2 ...  11 And when they (the wise men) were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped HIM:

and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto HIM gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Notice that Mary, Jesus'mother, was there with the baby Jesus ... but the wise men did not worship Mary, the mother ...

They worshipped HIM, Jesus.

When the Holy Spirit came to Mary telling her that Jesus would come through her, a virgin, she spoke a wonderful thing:

Lk. 1:38 ...  be it unto me according to THY word.

But we do not worship Mary.   We do not worship the apostle Paul although we greatly admire him in his calling.

Mary and Paul were equal servants of the Lord as are we who serve God today.

We serve God in that word God brings to us, in that to which God calls us.  And this is wonderful.  But we do not worship flesh and blood humans nor do we worship angels nor do we worship each other nor preachers.

Remember the scripture where the angel warned not to worship him ...

Revelation 19:10 ...  (John and the angel)  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me,  See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Revelation 22 ... 8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book:

worship God.

Mary, the mother of Jesus is dead ... just as Paul is dead ... They are "asleep".  Therefore neither of them can hear us if we speak to them!

When Jesus returns, they will awaken from the dead and rise to meet HIM in the air as will we.

I Thess. 4 ...  13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (dead)

16 For the Lord HIMSELF shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
