 Vol. 4 ... #6
The apostasy in the churches sets stage for return of Jesus

In 1982, God said to me:  "Kenneth Copeland is antichrist."

I sat and shook ...

It was right there in my own "neighborhood" ... His mother was a close friend of mine.
When I returned from Europe in December, 1980, there were 3 people waiting for me at airport:  Barbara Boykin, Lilly Mc Bride, Vinita Copeland (Kenneth Copeland's mother) ...
This shows how much she thought of me ...

Two years later, I am told by God that her son is antichrist.

At that time, we were thinking "one" antichrist, not many antichrists.

(Certainly Copeland is one "antichrist" as is the Catholic pope and many other ministers, large name ministers and relatively unknown ministers, for all who depart from specific scripture and preach something else are antichrist and this is the apostasy/falling away of II Thess. 2)

In the church I attended when I was first born again, they thought Henry Kissinger was the antichrist ...

But the truth is antichrist would come through the churches and there would be many antichrists, not just one.

Antichrist was not one man but a spirit that would come into man to make man "as god" so he could do whatever he wanted to do in the religious circles and be approved regardless of the scriptures.

In the first days of the New Testament church, the apostle John said there were already "many" antichrists.

I Jn. 2 ... 18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

The shocking thing to me is this:  I now see that all these things that I've witnessed in the churches for more than 35 years, all the wrong speaking by various pastors and ministers, has been the apostasy that has to come to the churches before Jesus can return.

This had to happen "first" before Jesus could return, says the apostle, Paul.

II Thess. 2 (NASB) ... 1 Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, 2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so- called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

The apostasy was held back, sin was restrained in the days of Paul and John, but now it has moved in, in our time!

The masses of society and the church groups themselves have joined together to approve sin.

That is the apostasy ... that is the lawless that we see today.

That means Jesus could return anytime for the dead in Christ and for those living who have held fast to scripture and the doctrines of the Bible even in the midst of the lawlessness of today's church groups and ministers.

The apostle Paul saw apostasy in the church coming ...

Paul said after he was removed from this earth, it would come into the church ...

Acts 20 ... Paul says ...  25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more. 26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. 27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which HE hath purchased with HIS own blood.

29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

Apostasy (falling away from scripture) crept into one church after another until today many have reached the point they cannot find a truly godly church group to attend.

We have to come away and find individuals who still believe in all the scriptures and gather with them, often by phone and by email for often we can't find these individuals in the city where we live.

It is a terrible time today ... this certainly set stage for Jesus' return ... and for the truly godly to be taken out, taken off this earth.

I Thess. 4 ...  13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (dead)

16 For the Lord HIMSELF shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The kingdom of Jesus will not be on this present earth.

II Peter 3 ...  10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Rev. 21 ... 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Jesus is coming for the true church ... and the wrath of God is coming on the ungodly churches and for the ungodly world.
