Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

John 4 ... The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. 20Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. 21Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Exhortation:  Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

In the early 70's, I had two roommates (sisters).  One roommate got cancer.  I went to the chapel of a local church to pray for Betty.  At that time I thought I was a Christian but I also thought I needed to go to a church building to pray.

A few years after this, I was born again and given the Spirit of God and then I knew I didn't have to go to a place or a building to pray.  I knew what it was to pray continually, wherever I was.

Those of us who belong to God have been given the Holy Spirit to dwell in us.  The Holy Spirit knows the heart of God and reveals the will of God to us.  Thus we hear truth from those ideas brought by the Holy Spirit.  We change from ways of humans and now we worship God in both Spirit and in truth.

We do not worship God with things we can see.  God is a Spirit.  We do not worship God with lighting of candles or looking at a cross.  God is a Spirit.  And unless we can worship God in spirit, spirit connecting with Spirit, we cannot worship God.  We worship both in Spirit and in truth.
