Meditation examples

Meditation:  Joan Boney

Joshua 1:9 ...Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

be not afraid:

- feeling of fear or anxiety
- worried that something undesirable will occur or be done
- unwilling or reluctant to do something (when God shows you) for fear of consequences
- anxious about the well-being or safety of someone or something

Turning to God in prayer with all fears is our answer.  If we have any concern, turning to God and presenting that concern to HIM in prayer is our answer.  Sometimes we forget to do this and end up carrying the concern ourselves.  Then we wake up and take the problem to God and so often that needless pressure lifts from us and we are at peace again.

The world tries to work out a plan to take care of the problem.  If we do that, we are usually in trouble.  But it never fails when we lay the problem out before God in faith and choose to trust God to work it out.

Sometimes we forget to do this.
