acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. Philemon
When we share things of the Spirit of God with others, our own faith becomes
"effectual"...
(effectual: becomes operative ...successful...causes
results...is a force...has results, purpose, meaning)
Not only does our sharing "refresh" the body of Christ (Philemon verse 7),
but it produces an effect in us to help our faith in God.

Recently, I reported 3 prayers being answered. When I started to share
that, the thought was there that that wasn't that important.
Later Juliet sent me an email thanking me for sharing it and I felt it was
important to her.

In the description of the body of Christ it speaks of that "which every
joint supplieth."
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the
Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the
fulness of Christ: 14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and
fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men,
and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15But speaking
the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head,
even Christ: 16From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted
by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in
the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of
itself in love. Eph. 4
That instruction you receive from the spirit of God is also instruction for
the church.
When Sandra shared that passage of scripture about not going with the angry
man, (Prov. 22...24Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: 25Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul. )
I looked at that scripture and looked at the meaning of the word angryand I saw a woman at the bridge center. I knew I didn't want to go out to dinner and hear her
talk because it did no good and evil came forth from her stories.
It helped me when Sandra shared that scripture and that story about her hair
dresser.
And so it is with the way of God. It is God's plan that we share that which
is given us by the Holy spirit, especially when it causes change in us.
You may be afraid to share.
Many times I've had this fear and God has said to me, "Is it true?"
Sharing of truth is so important ... truth is opposite of deception ... and
in the last days deception will be rampant.
While re-reading the verses God had given us in Hebrews concerning
exhorting one another an saw the following ...
13But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you
be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin Heb. 3
Sin is deceitful ... it deceives us and others ... the way of this world
today is around us everywhere. And the way of the world today is more
deceitful than it was in the l940's. Sex outside marriage was not approved
by the general population in the 1940's. Today it is approved (accepted as
normal by many).
But when we return to the scriptures we see this:
14And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own
power. 15Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I
then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God
forbid. 16What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one
body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17But he that is joined unto
the Lord is one spirit.
18Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body;
but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own
body. 19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost
which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20For ye are
bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit,
which are God's. I Cor. 6

So the way of the world (TV, books) is deceit. Sometimes that which is
portrayed is so disgusting to me that I have to turn the TV off or throw the
book away or skip past parts of the book. Sometimes I will then take the
Bible and renew my mind to what is right in the sight of God.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present
your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your
reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that
good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12

When I looked at the word "deceit" I found it to be a way opposite of the
truth.
These exhortations contain the way of truth which is so important to us in
the last days with deception being rampant.
