πŸ’₯ Paul gives evidence of antichrist surfacing to change doctrine at church in Ephesus even when he lived on the earth in days of early church.

I Timothy 1

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;

2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

(Antichrist is a spirit in men who opposes the true doctrine of the apostles in the Bible and changes that doctrine in the church into perverse doctrines.  Paul also knew when he was gone, men would rise up at Ephesis among the elders to speak perverse things.)

Perverted doctrines were already arising in the church at Ephesus in the time of Paul.  He tried to hold down the perversion but denominations were already beginning even among the elders at Ephesus.

Acts 20

And from Miletus he (Paul) sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.

18 And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,

19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:

23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.

24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which HE hath purchased with HIS own blood.

29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Paul shows us that men were already in the church at Ephesus just waiting to take over and change the doctrines of Christ and to cause others to follow their own doctrines.  This is the end time antichrist in the church even in Paul's day.

The apostle John shows us the same thing.  John says antichrist is "a spirit" in many and that there were many who came into their church who were "antichrist" in his time on this earth.

I John 2  The apostle John says:

18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

I John 4 (The spirit of antichrist in the churches)

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

(These "false prophet" bring fearful ideas to our minds concerning what is going to happen in the future.)

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

I Timothy 1  (Paul warns the church at Ephesus)

4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:

6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.

Peter says:  Many in the churches will follow their pernicious ways.

2 Peter 2

1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Jude

3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;

18 How that they told you there should be mockers (imitators) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

In the above scriptures the apostles Paul, John, Peter, and now Jude warn us in the Holy Bible telling us the spirit of antichrist was already among the churches in their time speaking false doctrines to get these people to replace the doctrines of Christ with their false doctrines.

In 1978, in a dream, God told me:  "Stop, Wait, Can't you see, It's too late ... It's already begun."

Destruction was everywhere in the churches.

False doctrines were being spoken by the preachers and these doctrines would "kill" the congregations.

Jesus told us this also in Matthew 24:

1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and HIS disciples came to HIM for to shew HIM the buildings of the temple.

2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

They come to the church saying, "Jesus is Lord," and because they say this they deceive many.

These scriptures show us this:  Immediately after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus the spirit of antichrist came to the church groups to bring their doctrines against the doctrines of Christ to destroy the churches.  This happened in the days of Paul, Peter, John, Jude, and it is rampant today is church groups where they say, "Jesus is Lord", and they teach lies of antichrist in the churches themselves.

2 Thessalonians 2   (the apostle Paul says Jesus cannot return until it happens in the churches that the falling away occurs and the man of sit sits inside the church showing himself to be god over the Word of God, changing doctrines of Christ in the church.)

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the return of Jesus) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

In 1982, God said to me:  "The falling away spoken by Paul in these scriptures was not telling of people leaving the churches.  The falling away was the churches leaving the scripture."

Churches will fall away from scripture before Jesus returns.  We see that happening today.
