John 14 ... Jesus says:

I (The Word) am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

2 Every branch in ME that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

4 Abide in me (The Word), and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me (The Word).

5   I (The Word) am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me (The Word), and I (The Word) in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me (The Word) ye can do nothing.

6 If a man abide not in me (The Word), he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

John 1

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by Him (The Word); and without Him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In Him (The Word) was life; and the life was the light of men.

Ephesians 4

21 If so be that ye have heard Him (The Word), and have been taught by Him (The Word), as the truth is in Jesus (The Word):

John 6

33 For the bread of God is HE (The Word) which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

Today the Word still comes down to us from heaven by God through that Holy Spirit of Jesus who dwells in us. By that Word is life and truth and the way of God for us to go as we live on this present earth.

Jesus lives in us:

I Corinthians 3:16-17    Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

I Corinthians 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

II Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
