* When we hear from God to do something, fear often comes to try to stop us from doing that which we have heard from God.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

A few weeks ago, I kept feeling I should re-read the Old Testament.  I had these thoughts to do this several times and I then I began reading.

It was like returning to see an "old friend" for these scriptures were greatly used by God in my life from 1975, when I was born again, until 1980, when I began exhorting the church on radio.

I have a spiritual gift of exhortation, so usually when I read any part of Bible, I see things that should be used to exhort the church.

After writing several exhortations from Old Testament, fearful thoughts began to come:  What if I am doing this interpretation wrongly?  I wouldn't want to slander a person in Old Testament.

I began praying for God to show me if I needed to correct anything.

And I re-read the exhortations.

I saw nothing to correct.

Then I remembered how often fear comes when we hear an instruction from God.

Peter says:

I Peter 4:10-14    As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.  If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when HIS glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.  If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part HE is evil spoken of, but on your part HE is glorified.

If evil is in the heart of another person, while you are doing what God shows you to do, that person might strike out at you and accuse you in that which you believe God showed you to do.

We just continue doing as we believe God showed us to do.

We cannot back off, for to stop would cause us to be destroyed with that evil doer.
