Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
This blog which we publish for you goes all over the world.
Yesterday I told you the story of the man who contacted me about 3 years ago. He said he was a minister, a pastor I think he said.
He was excited over that word which I published on the blog and he wanted me to come to the Philippines to speak to his church, at my own expense, and to speak to the other ministers there.
I told him I no longer travel. (I am currently 81-years-old.)
He shared, with his church group, some of the things I had written on our blog.
One thing I recall is I had written that preachers should not call themselves "Reverend." (There is no example in Bible where any minister of God called himself "Reverend".)
This man said the preachers there loved to call themselves "Reverend".
The examples we have in the New Testament show those called by God identifying themselves as apostle and teacher (Paul) ... and as apostle and elder (Peter). But never anywhere in Bible does any man call himself "Reverend".
When he shared this with his church group, they became very angry and told him to move out of the house, church property, where he lived with his wife and son and to be out within a week.
He had no money and no place to go.
I believe he told me he had lived on church property since he was 18-years-old ... supported by that church group.
I told him to do like the apostle Paul and get a secular job and support his own family and to live below his "means" and allow some money to accumulate.
I never heard from him again until last week, November 2019.
He said an earthquake had completely destroyed his house. He asked me to send food.
I believe this man returned to his church group and left the word of God behind and stayed on church property as he had been doing, thus his non communication with me for the past years.
I had the following called to my attention concerning this man.
Parable of the sower:
Mark 4:5-6 And some (seed) fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
... 16-17 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

If this man had taken his family away and fully depended on God, when the earthquake came to destroy that house where he had been living, he would not have been in that house.
I was also reminded of the following scripture:
Judges 10:13-14 (God says) ye have forsaken ME, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more. Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.

And I recalled the following concerning the parable of the wise and the foolish virgins.
Matthew 25:8-9 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

Also I remembered the following:
Hebrews 11:24-27 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing HIM who is invisible.
By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing HIM who is invisible.

So many people today say, "Jesus is Lord", but they show Jesus, The Word, is not their Lord but the people are their lord.
