* Information from the Holy Spirit

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Yesterday I was rereading II Thessalonians 2:3 (NASB)  Let no one in any way deceive you, for it  (the day of the Lord / the return of Jesus) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,

The Holy Spirit spoke to me the following concept, "Apostasy is a religious word."

Instantly I realized the significance of this.

Apostasy means:

- embracing an opinion that is contrary to one's previous religious beliefs
- rejection of beliefs in religion
- departure, revolt, rebellion of religious beliefs
- falling away, withdrawal, abandonment of religious beliefs

Even in the secular dictionaries, "apostasy" pertains to abandonment of "religious" beliefs.
"How then could this pertain to governments of men?

It should clearly show this "apostasy"  was going to happen in the churches, not in the world leaders.

For many centuries people have speculated on the question:  "Who is antichrist."

In the 1800's, the Russian people thought antichrist was Napoleon.

Some people in 1960-63 thought antichrist was John F. Kennedy.

In 1975, at the church I attended, I heard some say antichrist was Henry Kissinger.

But all these men pertain to secular governments of men.  That should have been enough to rule them out.  For antichrist is coming through the temple of God.

II Thessalonians 2:3-4  (NASB)

Let no one in any way deceive you, for it
(the day of the Lord) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

KJV

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day
(of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

(Even as far back as 1982, the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to see "the falling away" pertained to individuals and church groups falling away from the Bible and setting up other doctrines in the churches.

Falling away did not pertain to people leaving church but rather to the churches leaving the Bible, falling away from portions of scripture.)

What the Holy Spirit spoke to me yesterday is another brick and a solid truth about antichrist and the apostasy ...  It comes through the church itself.  And this is what we are seeing today in churches.

And by the following scripture we certainly should know there is not just "one" antichrist but rather there are "many" antichrists.

(Just as there is not one man in whom the devil works, there are many men in whom antichrist works today.)

The apostle John said it was already the "last days" at the time he spoke this which became a scripture in the Bible.

I John 2:18   Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

And the apostle Paul said antichrists were already there in that church group to whom he spoke and they were just waiting for Paul's departure so they could bring in perverse doctrines to that church group.

Acts 20:29-30    For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

The antichrists work rampantly in today's churches as they pervert scripture, leaving out and changing instructions such as:

* The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.  (Matthew 5:32)

* The woman who leaves her husband and divorces must remain unmarried or return to her husband.  (I Corinthians  7:10-11)

* The man who divorces a "faithful wife", will be the cause of her adultery if she remarries after divorce.  She will commit adultery if she remarries but the man who divorced her as a faithful wife will be "the cause" of her adultery.  (Matthew 5:32)

And many other scriptures are changed in today's churches or completely removed in the churches while a doctrine opposite from Bible is set up in the churches.

This is the apostasy, the falling away, antichrist sitting in the churches showing he is god above the Word of God, changing scripture and discarding scripture, setting up doctrines in the churches which is opposite direction from scripture.
