No man knows the exact day or hour that Jesus will return to gather the church to Himself, but Jesus said we would know the season as we know when spring follows winter ... the leaves on the trees tell us spring is near.
When you understand Bible, you know the wickedness upon this earth will increase (not decrease) before the return of Jesus and the wrath of God is loosed upon this earth.

Are things today better or worse? Are sins of man, as stated in Bible, more approved today or less approved?
2018: Ireland has just passed a bill to legalize abortion. (abortion is murder)

1960: Homosexuals in Texas were placed in prison if caught. Today it is legal and even openly approved for a man to be homosexual.
Bible says: Romans 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

1930's: The masses of people disapproved of divorce and remarriage.
Today divorce/remarriage is highly approved even in most church groups.
Matthew 5:32 Jesus says: But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Can it get worse? Is the cup of iniquity full yet?
It can get worse ... for there are still more than 60 countries where homosexuals are illegal. This could change and they could make it legal, as it has changed in USA.
TV can get worse also. There are many sins that are hinted at on TV programs. The time could come when those sins are actually shown on the TV screen.

The apostle Paul said:
II Timothy 3:13 evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
Paul told us to continue in the Holy Scriptures which are able to make us wise unto salvation through faith in God.

We hate the evil ... but we also know the increase of evil means we are closer to the return of Jesus and the removal of the church from this world and the pouring out of the wrath of God on this world.
Revelation 8-16 (The plagues and woes that God will pour out on this world)
Then total destruction of the heavens and earth.
II Peter 3:10-14 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

The righteousness we so desire will come when we are taken to that new heaven and new earth. We will never have righteousness on this present earth.
Just keep yourself in the Word, the love of God, as you wait for the coming of Jesus where HE raises the dead and changes the living believers and removes them from this earth.

I Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (dead).
For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.

Even the evil today in the church groups was ordained by God to happen before Jesus returns.
The apostle Paul explains:
II Thessalonians 2:3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Before Jesus returns, churches and people who attend churches, will fall away from portions of scripture. The scriptures hold the lawlessness back. When they remove these scriptures, lawlessness reigns in the church group. We see that all over today. It simply means the return of Jesus is near.
Live in the joy of the Word. Live in peace by The Word.
Continue in doing the Word as you live on this earth and wait in patience and hope for the return of Jesus and for your removal from this earth.
