I wanted many things in this life that I did not get because they did not fit with God's purpose for my life.
Today, I see those things that I wanted as unimportant.
(Paul said he counted all these things "as dung" that he might be in Christ (The Word). Philippians 3)
Looking back, I don't see that I gave up anything along the way but rather I got everything worth having!
For there is nothing like eternal salvation through God by HIS Spirit and The Word, Jesus.

So sing to me no sad, mournful songs … Sing me joyful, happy songs when you sing of God!
