Is there any scripture telling us we are washed in the blood of Jesus?
People sing about it, but is it really true?
Where in the Bible does it tell us we are washed from our sins by the blood of Jesus?

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

By this, we prove our doctrine, we know where it says that in the Bible.
When we know Bible, we can safely enter in and live in That Word in great joy.
Our past sins are washed in the blood of Jesus.
If you are troubled over a sin, enter into the healing of God through believing what the Bible says about that troubling sin.
I John 1:7 the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.

I know a woman who was tormented each time people spoke of abortion. She had an abortion. She also was divorced and committed fornication and was a drunkard. But then God saved her and changed her. Today she would not commit these sins. But she is still tormented by thoughts of the abortion.
I told her she has to refuse those troubling thoughts when they are sent to her by devil and hold onto the scriptures whereby we are told Jesus' blood cleanses us from "all" sin.
Romans 3:23-25 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Jesus paid for all of our sins with HIS own blood.
If you have been unable to enter by The Word and are allowing yourself to be tormented over a sin, focus on the scriptures which tell us Jesus paid for all our sins with HIS own blood.
And pray to believe!

We are purchased by Jesus, The Word, and redeemed from our past life and all sins by the blood HE shed for us.
I Peter 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (Jesus, The Word) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Because of these truths, we, as Christians live in joy of the Lord, The Word, Jesus.
Believe the scriptures and rise above all things in joy of that which Jesus, The Word has done for us.
How can we not be exceedingly joyful?

We are kept to salvation by The Word given us by God by HIS Spirit who dwells in us.
John 17 … Jesus praying to God … 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

As all things are created by The Word, all things are kept by The Word.
II Peter 3:5-7 by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
The same Word of God that created and keeps the heavens and earth, will later destroy the same heavens and earth.
II Peter 3:10-14 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth (see Rev.21:1-5), wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Prove your doctrine to yourself by prayer and through Bible.
II Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

The gates of hell will not prevail against that Word given us by God through HIS Spirit.
