Psalm 99
1-3
The Lord (The Word) reigneth; let the people tremble:
HE (The Word) sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
The Lord (The Word) is great in Zion; and HE (The Word) is high above all the people.
Let them praise THY great and terrible name (The Word); for it is holy.

The Word speaks and the earth melts. The heavens remain in place by The Word. The heavens are removed by The Word.
How can man not fear The Word.
The Word creates, destroys, removes, saves.
Psalm 111:10 The fear of the Lord (The Word) is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do HIS commandments (The commandments of The Word): HIS praise endureth for ever.

The way we hear The Word, the way we handle The Word, applying The Word in a proper manner, is salvation to us.
I Corinthians 11:27-30 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread (The Word), and drink this cup (The Word) of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
But let a man examine himself (by The Word), and so let him eat of that bread (The Word), and drink of that cup (The Word).
(As we eat and drink the Bible, we examine ourselves by the Bible, making changes as needed to our lives.)
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep (die).
For if we would judge ourselves (by The Word), we should not be judged.
