While we wait for Jesus

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

As we wait for the return of Jesus, the apostle Peter tells us the following:

II Peter 3:10-14    But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

If we belong to God, having HIS Spirit in us, we cannot wait "in peace" with ministers who corrupt scripture and with congregations who follow these corruptions.

We simply depart from them and set ourselves in a place of peace.

Being without spot and blameless comes as we follow the Spirit of God, leaving the corrupt perversions of the church world and the world, clinging to the instruction of the Bible by the Spirit of God.

Recently there was something I started to do but the Holy Spirit reminded me of how to do that would be "hypocritical", and the Holy Spirit reminded me of the following scripture:

James 3:17   But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

(It is not the wisdom from God to do something that is hypocritical.)

After the Holy Spirit reminded me of these points concerning hypocrisy, I put what I had planned to do away from me and did not do it.

(I can't even remember now what it was I was thinking of doing that would have been hypocritical.)

We strive to be in a position of peace through prayer and action, moving into a place of peace.  Pray about tomorrow and act upon today also through prayer.

When Jesus returns we want to be found in peace and without spot and blameless.
