What will it be like the day Jesus returns?
Jesus tells us.
Matthew 24:37-38 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Luke 17:28-30 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

So if we are looking for signs of the coming of Jesus on the world news, we won't see such there, for everything will look that day exactly as it looks today.
People will be marrying, buying, selling, eating, drinking, building their works until instantly the lightning flashes in the form of Jesus and all over the world HE will be seen.
Matthew 24:26-27 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, HE is in the desert; go not forth: behold, HE is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

One day, I was a little bored and was looking at the news headlines on Internet to see what was happening and the following truth was brought to my mind: Why are you looking here? This won't show you the coming of Jesus.
And I remembered Matthew 24:37-38...
And really all that matters to us is the coming of Jesus to take us out of this world.
