That which we speak shows that which is in our heart

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

If we speak something that is not good, we know we have allowed that into our heart.  That which we speak shows what is in our heart.

Jesus said:  out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speakethMatthew 12:34

When we realize we have said something that is not good, we can repent.

We can also know we have allowed the thing that is not good to come into our heart.

Sometimes the evil thing enters when we fail to forgive someone and an evil seed enters into us and grows.

Other times the evil seed comes through hearing something on TV or through that which others say to us.  It will grow in our heart and at some point come out our mouth.

I'm very careful about what other people say.  Often when a person says something contrary to Bible, I speak up and say, "That is not in the Bible," showing what I want to live by is the truth of God that is in Bible.

Often after a person speaks and I know it is contrary to truth of God, I will turn to God telling God how troubled I am by that which was spoken and in such cases God brings healing to me and reestablishes me in HIS way, often by reminded me of scripture.

An example:  A man called the Bible "legalistic."  I was so troubled.  After I turned to God with this I was reminded of the following words of Jesus:

Matthew 7:13-14    Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Then I rejoiced greatly!  The Bible frees us from the way of sin.  Man wants freedom to sin.  We who are of God want freedom from sin.  The Bible shows us the way of God which is freedom from sin when we choose that way.

When we find ourselves speaking something and then saying, "Just kidding."  We fool ourselves.  For that which we speak came from our heart.

Proverbs 4:23-27     Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.

Froward:  stubbornly unruly mouth

Perverse:  words not in keeping with accepted Bible standard

Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established (by God).

Pray over the issue and allow God to bring to your mind concepts which establish HIS truth in the matter at hand.

Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

Matthew 12:35-27    A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
