Podcast: Focus on that which God has shown you concerning specific problems

Isaiah 26

3 THOU wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on THEE: because he trusteth in THEE.

4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

In the midst of a problem, the devil will bring thoughts to your mind of what might happen in future as a result of that problem.

There is no truth in that which devils bring to our mind.  The devil is "a false prophet".

Jesus says:

John 8:44 ... He (devil) was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in himWhen he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

I John 4:1  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

The devil will try to tell you what will happen to you in the future ... but the devil is "a false prophet".

Here is what devil does:

A problem surfaces.  You turn to God with that problem and God helps you by giving you a word.  You rejoice in that word.  Devil waits a few days and when he can, he brings thoughts opposite to what God has shown you to try to make you doubt and have fear again. Then fear blocks out the word God has given you,

Devil said to Eve:

Genesis 3:1   "Hath God said?"

(Did God really say that to me?)

Doubt begins to pour into your mind.

To fight against doubt, we need to keep what God has said about the issue before us day and night until the problem is resolved, for the devil will bring doubtful thoughts when he can do so.

But as long as we keep what God said in our mind, devil likely cannot slip his fears into our heart and mind.

I Peter 5:8-9  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Be diligent to keep before you what God has said until the problem is fully resolved.

As soon as you walk away thinking it settled, devil will creep in with his ideas concerning the matter.

And remember devil is a liar and there is no truth in him.  (John 8:44)

A lot of trouble and doubt can come when devil brings his thoughts to our mind.

So keep what God has said before you concerning this matter.
