πŸ’₯ Exhortation from Barbara Preston, member of the body of Christ.

When I step back and think about it, it is shocking what craziness we humans can fall for.

Ideas such as:  Eating black eyes peas on New Year's Day bringing good luck.   Money coming from eating cabbage ???

I know I used to be crazy as a loon!

Without God there is no hope for us.

My husband told me that after I was born again my daughter asked him one day…Is mom okay?…meaning…Has she gone crazy?

Funny thing is that before I was born again I did act like a genuinely crazy person.

But she was so used to my craziness that when I sobered up ( both literally and figuratively) she thought I may be losing my mind because I was saying and doing things so differently than I had in the past.

2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1 Peter 4

1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

3 For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

4 Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
