💥 As a new Christian in 1975, I would look at this scripture and be assured that God would work in me.

 

Philippians 1:6

Being confident of this very thing, that HE which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

I was certain it was God who had begun the good work in me and that God would perform that work in me as long as HE left me on this earth.

I read the Bible and built my faith in God by thinking on such scriptures.
